February Events!
The temp is in the negatives, but the crafting events are heating up 🔥
Whew, it’s been a tough week. Personally, this is when I lean on community the most, and I feel so lucky to be part of this one. I hope we can continue building a safe and welcoming space to land for anyone who needs it.
That being said, I am so excited to share the events we have been working on for February. Hope to see you at one, or all ☺️
February Events:
Tuesday, 2/4 | 6:00pm - 8:30pm | Bring-Your-Own-Craft at Rainbow Unicorn
Rainbow Unicorn is new immersive restaurant and lounge, located at 964 W Belmont Ave. We can’t wait for you all to see the space - it is so colorful and fun. They also offer delicious and playful food & drink options to enjoy while you create!

Saturday, 2/8 | 11:00am - 2:00pm | Crafting at the Movies
We are taking craft club to the movies!! We rented out a private theater at Facets (1517 W Fullerton Ave), and are so excited to be screening When Harry Met Sally while we work on our crafts. (Lights will be on, but dimmed, so we can still see our projects.)

Saturday, 2/15 | 11:00am - 1:00pm | Coffee & Crafts at Pilot Project Brewing
If you are a frequent craft club attendee, you know the deal. It’s the 3rd Saturday which means we are back at Pilot Project Brewing (2140 N Milwaukee Ave)! Always excited for the energy at this one, and for the apple slices. (I swear Pilot Project has the best tasting apple slices… is this only me? 🫣)

Sunday, 2/23 | 11:00am | Puzzle Exchange at Second Shift Coworking
Our resident puzzle queen, Leah, is hosting another Puzzle Exchange! Refresh your collection by bringing puzzles to swap - each puzzle earns you one ticket. When the exchange begins at Noon, you can use your tickets to pick out new puzzles from the selection. Feel free to bring a craft to work on or try one of our puzzles while you wait.

Tuesday, 2/25 | 6:00pm - 8:00pm | DIY Patchwork Embroidery at Pinot’s Palette
This is our first guided craft event! We will focus on patchwork embroidery, and Mary created a super cute Pintrest board for some inspiration. You can check it out here.
We will provide examples, some materials to share, and will be there to answer questions and help you brainstorm. To get the most out of the event, we suggest bringing some supplies to use on your own project or to share with the group.
Suggested supplies:
- scrap fabric
- embroidery needles
- embroidery hoop
- anything to embroider onto (shirt/tote/jeans/etc)
- embroidery floss
- beads
- fabric glueNot interested in patchwork, no problem! We would love to have you still join us while you work on whatever project your heart desires.
